Expectations Among Years

The expectations are always changnig what i mean is basically the rol models, idols they are always changing. There was a argument in our book "Why Boys Don't play With Dolls" (Pollit). We load our children some missions. Girls plays with dolls because it is a female being, mothercaring or sth. ( I have written a blog just on these dillenma) However we gave that thing to our children. It was great example in documentary in our lesson the G I Joe toys example. G I joe is one of the militaristic power of USA and they have some dolls some figures of G I Joe for several years. I will change the example because it gives the examples with inches but i can understand it just using cm. In 70s the biceps of a G I Joe solider is just 35 cm and its volume has enlarged for several years and in 2000s it is approximaetly 55 cm. It gave an example of Beysball player to comphrasion. A famous beysball player's ( i dont remember the name of him) is just 42-45 cm and this is important he regularly uses his biceps because it is his job.

Society created this degeminition in 60's movies there were not body builder in movies, they started to enter movies in late 80's via Slysvester Stalone, Arnold Schwarzeneger and Van Damme they were powerfull Americans and they created a Trend. After this revolution the exceptations of being Handsome change into nice face to muscular body.

Perception of Female Beauty and Comparasion with Males.

We could easily observe that some old men generally want to marry young girls. The beauty of a young woman always was a pushing effect for men. We act on females like an object when they lose their beauty or their sexuality they lost their popularity.

We could see these effects on basically in movies.Consider that the actors and actresses. Actors can play leading role if they are young or old it does not matter because society perspect that they are more handsome that their young ages. However the main actresses always changes we can see where is Catherine Zeta Jones she played his final role in 2004 Ocean's twelve and later periods she lost her sexualty and lately she slowly became dissappear. However in Ocean's twelve there were Brad Pitt, George Clooney, even in 2011 they are still can take perfect roles also they stiil called sexy. Clooney is 50 and Pitt is 47 but Jones is just 41 and i could not see her for a long time. It means she lost his popularity when she was 35. It is same for evey actress. This is why there are lots of new acctrees derives, their time for working is really less.

Another specific example is that the famous men magazine FHM always makes an a survey per year, the followers of FHM chose the sexiest woman. In 2006 Angelina Jolie(35) got the leadership position in this survey after that, she was always at top 10 until 2010. She cannot find a place in top 20 for these years. What is changed? Firstl she had a baby and secondly in 4 years there are lots of new sexy actress enters in movie sector like Megan Fox (24) was the winenr of 2009 or Cheryl (27) Cole who won the award of FHM for 2010

TV

In my hometown i had a TV in my own room. It  always opened  and  i can follow everything via that TV. Politic   situations, magazine, sports, everything. When i came in Sabancı in dormotory i really forgot watching TV thing. For example there is a TV serie which is called Ezel, people argues on that, chats on that but honestly i have no idea what is Ezel. For a long time i thought that Ezel is the name of the main girl in serie but i learned Ezel is a really agressive male figure.

Or another one "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" even in Hist 191 our lecturer Hakan Erdem refers this serie. Firstly when i heard its name i predict that it is a space TV serie because Muhteşem Yüzyıl really comes a new generation thing. Again i made a mistake, the serie was about the perfect century of Ottoman Empire. I really suprised because TV have never been a plug-in Drug for me but it had a really big place in my life. However in school i just can watch the football games but i really do not realize its deficiency. In our school we have a servant we can watch some chanels online via Campus TV but i really do not open this too it was a time wasting.

Virginity

Virginity is a really big problem for all soceities for all males for all females. Why this hymen have been given to females. There are some beliefes but the most exciting one came from ancient Greek myth. The god off marriage Hymaneous have given this limb to provide a trust between partners.

However virginity is a different perpective it symbolise innocency, purity, beauty etc. It has different perspective to lose virginity. For a man he perspect that when his girlfriend had a boyfriend she lost her virginty in his opinion. Or when the girl had her first sex or when she feel in love it might be too, first kiss, first date, first dinner etc. This virginity cause really big  commitment and responsibility  however who decide that? How could girls live freedomly they cannot predict his future husband's perspective. 

I suppose that lots of them want to get rid of this stupid commitment but on male perspective in sexually it is a kind of sign did she had sex or not. Of course this is not a good way because there are lots of ways to protect this situation or surgical operations vs. If a man said i gave an importance on that, some feminist belivers supports that he is an hominid, he is a caveman,  or other insults. Sightless living irrresponsible and having sex regularly with men, is that modernity?? Who can give a difference between animals and these hippi behaviours. I think there is no difference these kind of free people among animals. 

Honestly My opinion looks like really rude and i know i am look like a caveman but it does not work like that. People (males and females) have to care on their future, decide their partners carefully because this is an important issue, having sex is a holy felling, people should fell this carefully it is not a basic thing which cannot be exploited. Besides i want to emphasize i support that for all male beings too this holy feeling is not a basic thing.

 I called it is holy actullay this is not my opinion, it is called, because sex is strongly  percivable in spinal cord and some belife system supported that god  blow out the soul in people's spinal cord that's suport that it is a kind of bond between god (or what you belive or not) and this felling is holy because of that bond. This is best way to feel god ( again these systems said not my opinion)

Personal armaments

Personal armaments is a huge problem for today because purchasing a gun is really is in today's world. There are  lots of people who live in black sea region of the Turkey, do this producement like a hobbie and the sell these guns  illegally. This is what we can see lots of murderers and there is no deterrent laws for these producers.

Another question is why this personal armament reach high percentages. In some cultures having gun or using it is perceiving like a sign of being a real man. We can think on it some scientific ways, human being are really weak about physical power, we cannot hunt with our hands we cannot fish, we do not have sharp teeth like a shark. In contrast Human brain is the most evaluated brain type in nature and we can close this physical weaknesses via our brain. Aggression is an instictive feeling and especially males cannot stop this sometimes. This is most important reaoson for personal armaments it is a way of furnishing self confidence among another males. This is like an insurance and it is same in the argument of Wright (The Man Who Was Almost A Man)

The Beauty Myth

This is an argument which was written by Naomi Wolf, personally i really impressed that argument because she emphasized really important points. Firstly she argued that in wildlife the chooser is females for animals as we know, males are fight aganist each other and the female chooses the strongest one. However in human beings this situation became opposite way , males are the choosers and this sexual selection result in a word which is beauty. The situation created a really big industry and caused extreme incomes for some of them. After the industrial revolution men got the power of breadwinner and also life started to became easier, they got more times to care on them. ( This was the same in ancient times, after the agricultural revolution human are started to art, since before that they do not have time to do that.). To be the choosen one ladies started to the race of becoming beautiful. Paralelly media created a sterotype on women.. Cosmetic, Clothing and Diet sector have made amazing profits. This is important because this media and new age changed people's beauty perception and thinners became beautifuls. In agricultural times generally physically strongers women were choosen because they need muscle power to work in agricultural regions.

Advertisements and Sexual Effects

Humans and other creatures are definelty same, in nature animals and plants had 3 basic needs to survive which are norruishment, shelter and  coupling. They have been evaluated to furnish these neccesities. They might be hunter for their norusihment and another specific example is some of them colorful or having perfect scent to tempt the partner candidates. This situation are definetly same for human being, owing to the evoluation they have to cloth. We generally ignore that but all of us wanted to have good and sexy looking, we sport, buy elegant clothes, have a hair style etc. We all want to attract the opposite sex. This is why in advertesiments esspecially parfume, clothing, cosmetics etc, producers made these advertesiments based on sexual attraction. They prefer really Sexy(???) models and actereeses or actors. Think on yourself, if anyone who is from opposite sex, like your scent, hairstyle, your clothes, shoes etc, is not that pleasant.
